Father's Day

Today I went swimming with Mommy and then I laid around outside with my bare butt! Don't worry, I was covered in sunscreen. It was not too hot this afternoon, so it felt nice to warm up in the sun. I now kick my legs wildly in the pool and I love when Mommy has me jump in to her! I would rather kick than float tho! Plus, I like to hang on to the edge and pull myself up. Then, I can play with the leaves! (Eat them too!)I miss you a lot and wish you were here. Happy Father's Day.Mommy and I can;t wait for you to come home. We love you.

Just Like You!

Hi Dad! It's not Father's Day here for us yet but it is for you. So, I wanted to show you how I am being like you when you were little in honor of your day! I love and miss you. Maybe I will eat this crib too!

We watched the game. Aedan was actually giggling at the tv when he was watching it.I guess he is a lot like his Daddy! I am not sure why the heck we were robbed of that goal.... maybe you can explain it to me. Seems odd... Anyway, he is now worn out from all the excitement. Miss you.

Pointer

Well, today was not as exciting as I hoped. Mommy still has the gross cough, and she hasn't been sleeping because of it. I also like to wake her up a lot. I especially like to wake her up at 5:00AM by crawling all over her and laughing. I was sad I was sleeping today when you called. Next time, I want to hear your voice on speaker. Mommy will take a picture of me holding the phone.

I have been climbing a lot. I try to climb up everything. Mommy and Grandma took me outside to the bench and I was trying to climb up it. I also do this new thing where I use my pointer finger and touch everything. I touch Mommy's face with it. I touch tables, chairs, plants.. Everything.

After I played outside for a while, Mommy brought me inside for a snack. She decided to peel the skins off some peaches that were really ripe and sweet. I kept grabbing at them, so she cut them into very small pieces and let me try to grab it. I couldn’t grip them. After that, she tried cheerios. I like that but I wasn’t really able to eat them well. So, Mommy crushed them into a powder and then rolled bananas in them. I LOVED that and grabbed and smashed a few. She had to feed me still. I am not really to feed myself yet, but I am working on it! Miss and love you. !

New Friend

Hi Dad; Today I met Stacy! I loved her. She played with me, sang to me, and even played some music with me on my bells. I am so excited that she is going to watch me sometimes. At first I was a little upset. I cried and whined because I didn't understand why Mommy wasn't holding me the whole time. Then, she made me laugh and giggle. As you can see, I snuggled in and got really comfortable. She rocked me and sang to me and I fell asleep in her arms! I think we are a match.

Tough Stuff

Hi Daddy! Mommy has been really sick the last few days. She went to her Doctor who said she has a bacterial infection in her lungs! Yuck! So she is taking antibiotics now so she can play with me more. The last few days I have been wild. My two top teeth are coming in; Mommies Doctor said she could see them. So, I have been crying a lot from the pain.I am still taking my tablets..
I have all sorts of new moves now. I get up on my knees and then pull myself up everywhere. I also like to hop when I am on my knees and that sometimes makes me slam into things and cry. Yesterday I slammed my mouth into a table. A cried and have a little cut. I also bang my head into the sliding glass door because I want to get outside!

I am now also wild in the bathtub. I try to swim and kick and hop. Mommy let me play in the bathtub without the duck until I slammed my head into the tub twice in a row. I didn’t even cry, but it is a nasty bump. I guess I am tough. Skin also co0mes and monitors me in the tub. I guess she knows I am too wild to be left without the duck! I love you.
